The Northern Arizona Chapter of the American Red Cross has been notified by the Mohave County Emergency Management Office that a monsoon storm last night disabled a transformer leaving 24,000+ people without power. Red Cross has opened a cooling station today at at Sudden Link Community Center, 2380 Suddenlink Way, Bullhead City, AZ 86429. Those affected by the storm can come to the cooling center for relief from the heat, water and snacks.
