Interstate 10 is closed in both directions in southeastern Arizona due to blowing dust in New Mexico, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
The closure is expected to last until winds calm late in the day. Drivers should plan for delays and use alternate routes.
I-10 is closed for about 60 miles, with eastbound traffic stopped at milepost 352, just east of Willcox. Westbound traffic is stopped at Lordsburg, New Mexico, about 20 miles east of the state line.
Traffic in both directions can use US 191 and US 70 as a 105-mile detour through Safford and Duncan.
