Hidden Fire on Apache Sitgreaves National Forest Reaches Containment

The Hidden Fire is approximately 2 acres and is 100 percent contained.  The Hidden Fire is located in the Springerville Ranger District of the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, approximately 1 mile east of St. Peters Dome near Hidden Meadows Ranch.

Fire personnel from the Forest Service and Greer Fire responded to a fire east of Springerville at approximately 1:00 this afternoon.  Despite the windy conditions, fire crews were able to construct a control line around the fire using hand crews and dozer.  They will continue to work in the area until the fire is extinguished.
