The Central Fire is 80% contained. Yesterday, crews concentrated their actions around the few remaining heat sources found by the infrared flight in the southwest and northwest sections of the fire. Minimal fire activity is expected today, primarily within the fire’s perimeter. Actions today will focus on extinguishing heat near containment lines and suppression repair. Ground and aerial resources will take suppression actions as needed.
