Fire staffs continue today to manage the High Meadow Fire located approximately 55 mile southeast of St. George, Utah near Mt. Trumbull and Potato Valley on the BLM Arizona Strip.
The lightning-caused High Meadow Fire started July 14, 2015 and is located in the Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument portion of the BLM Arizona Strip. As of today, the fire is 1,312 acres in size.
The High Meadow wildfire is being managed to achieve both protection and natural resource objectives.
