At 4:13 p.m. it came onto the Nogales Ranger District of the Coronado National Forest, burning in surges over ridges in steep and inaccessible terrain. Conditions are breezy. Fire behavior consists of fire running up hills and backing into canyons. Water drops from helicopters have begun. Smoke and flames may be visible from Nogales and Rio Rico.
