Resources responding to 2-acre wildfire east of C.C. Cragin Reservoir
Resources are responding to a lightning-caused 2-acre wildfire located approximately 6 miles east of C.C. Cragin Reservoir atop Mogollon Rim.
Resources responding to the Leonard Fire include two crews and three engines with about 50 firefighters in total. No structures or communities are threatened at this time.
Firefighters will be conducting burnout operations along forest roads to contain the wildfire, so smoke will be visible to Blue Ridge communities and motorists traveling along state Route 87 in the area.
