The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced the availability of low interest federal disaster loans to small businesses and private nonprofit (PNP) organizations in New Mexico who sustained economic losses due to drought occurring Jan. 28.

Flagstaff Ranger District fire managers are tentatively planning to conduct two highly-visible prescribed burns next week located east and northeast of Flagstaff to reduce hazardous forest fuels and reduce the risk of wildfires to surrounding communities.

The Yavapai County Office of Emergency Management (YCOEM) in coordination with the National Weather Service Flagstaff Office will conduct a county-wide test of the Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) and the Emergency Alert System (EAS) on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. This test will take place in conjunction with the weekly National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) weather radio test.
