Brush fires have closed State Route 377 in both directions between Holbrook and Heber-Overgaard and State Route 277 from Heber-Overgaard to Snowflake, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

There is no estimated time for the roadways to reopen. Motorists should consider delaying or altering their travel plans because several brush fires are burning in the area.

ADOT suggests the following detour: State Route 77 to State Route 260.

The northbound lanes of State Route 87 have reopened after a brush fire near Sunflower, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. One southbound lane also has reopened. The other southbound lane remains closed near milepost 222.  

There are long traffic delays and motorists should consider delaying or altering their travel plans.

State Route 87 was closed in both directions earlier today six miles north of Sunflower due to a brush fire.

A brush fire burning in the median on Interstate 17 at milepost 249 is causing extensive southbound delays, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Traffic is backed up about 7 miles from Bumble Bee Road to Badger Springs Road. Motorists should consider taking an alternate route, including State Route 260 through Camp Verde to SR 87 through Payson.
