Recipe Ingredients:
3 cans garbanzo beans, drained
1 8-oz. jar prepared pesto
Directions:
Use the manual can opener in your 72-hr. emergency supplies kit to open the cans of garbonzo beans.
Mash garbonzo beans to a smooth consistency with fork. Add the prepared pesto and mix.
Serve with chips or crackers.
Cooking Tips:
A jar of roasted red peppers can be substituted for the pesto. Drain the peppers well and blot excess liquid with a paper towel. Add garlic salt to taste.
