A trendy take on an iced coffee! A popular Korean style of coffee which has really taken off ever since the whole global pandemic thing happened.
Instant coffee (2tbsp) Water (2tbsp) Sugar (2tbsp) Milk (1-2cups) Ice (optional)
Boil water. Either use an electric kettle or a good old fashioned tin can over a fire depending on how bad the emergency situation is! Mix the sugar, boiling water, and instant coffee in a bowl. Whisk until light and fluffy. Color should turn from a dark brown to a light tan. If electricity is a thing in the apocalypse, an electric mixer will finish in approximately 2 minutes. If the EMPs have hit, a hand whisk will have the mixture at this consistency in 7-10 minutes depending on arm strength and stamina. Once the mixture has attained the desired fluffiness, fill a cup with a few ice cubes and some milk (cow milk or any other milk that still exists). Spoon the coffee mixture on top of the milk. Take a few pictures for Instagram if that still exists. If it does not, draw a picture of your creation on the wall of the cave that you live in and show it to your neighbors. Stir before consuming. Enjoy!
You can also dip cookies into the fluffy coffee mixture or put it on ice cream!
