A delicious drink for those dark days when you need a little pick me up!

Recipe Ingredients:
  • ¼ cup espresso (i.e., 1-3 tsp. instant espresso mixed with ¼ cup hot water)
  • 2 Tbsp. dark chocolate shavings
  • ¼ cup almond milk
  • 3 Tbsp. canned pumpkin
  • ¼ tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ tsp. sugar (optional)
  • ¼ tsp. nutmeg (optional)
Directions:
  1. Heat 1/4 cup water over an open flame. Stir the instant espresso into the hot water and pour into a large mug.
  2. Stir in the dark chocolate shavings, pumpkin pie spice and sugar.
  3. Warm the canned pumpkin. Add the pumpkin to the espresso. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Warm the almond milk. Froth the almond milk with a handheld mixer (optional) and pour into the mug. Mix all ingredients together in mug.
  5. Garnish with nutmeg and enjoy!
Cooking Tips:

Prior to cooking make sure your campfire or other heating source is hot enough to ensure a quick and easy heating process.
