Very quick and easy soup that uses basic kitchen tools. You'd have to try really, really hard to screw this up.
Recipe Ingredients:
1 can of seasoned refried black beans
1/3 cup of your preferred salsa
1 can chicken broth/stock (sub vegetable stock for vegetarian)
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a soup pan. Mix the beans and broth together until smooth.
Using your preferred heat source (stove, propane grill, fireplace), cook for 5 to 10 minutes over medium heat--stirring occasionally--until heated through.
Serve hot or at room temperature, with tortillas or tortilla chips.
