1/2 cup butter (or shortening, if you can't get butter)
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (or to taste)
Directions:
Empty peaches into the bottom of a dutch oven. Cover with the dry cake mix and press down firmly. Cut butter into small pieces and place on top of cake mix. Sprinkle top with cinnamon.
Cook for about 45 minutes.
If you're using a 10-inch dutch oven, put 15 briquettes on top of the lid and 9 beneath. If you're using a 12-inch dutch oven, use 17 on top and 11 beneath.
Cooking Tips:
To do this at home when you're not in the middle of an emergency, use a 9x13 cake pan, and cook it at 375 degrees for about 45 minutes.
