Potatoes, cracker jacks, and peanuts

Recipe Ingredients:
  • 1 small box Cracker Jack (slightly crush the popcorn and peanuts)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted peanuts (chopped or crushed)
  • 1 can sweet potatoes or yams
  • 1 tsp cinammon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (Optional)
Directions:
  1. Drain sweet potatoes and put in a large bowl. Slightly smash the potatoes to desired consistency.
  2. Add sugar, cinammon, nutmeg, brown sugar, and peanuts.
  3. Grease a casserole dish. Put sweet potato mixture in the casserole dish.
  4. Bake in a 375 degree oven for about 30 minutes until potatoes are heated through.
Cooking Tips:

Be sure to remove the prize from the cracker jack box. Peanuts and Cracker Jack can be crused with can of sweet potatoes before emptying or with a rolling pin. Place them in a place bag to make it less messy.
